May has absolutely slid by and summer knitting season is barreling down on us!

I have some upcoming workshop style classes coming up in June at 614 Knit Studio in Columbus, Ohio! If you are interested in any of these, you will call Andrea at 614 Knit Studio to sign-up at (614) 670-5629!

-The Art of Unknitting - Thursday, June 4th from 5:30 to 7 PM - This class will teach students tips and tricks to undo their knitting. We will focus on techniques and strategies on picking up dropped stitches, tinking, ripping back, and frogging. This is an all levels class, and I think even advanced students will be able to take something away. You need to bring a swatch or some small knitted piece you are willing to undo and an appropriate needle! Class dues: $45

-Continental Knitting - Saturday, June 27th 1 to 3 PM - Knitting with the yarn held in our non-dominant hand (i.e. continental knitting) is oftentimes a more ergonomic and faster method of knitting than English style knitting (yarn held in our dominant hand). Getting started with the method can be intimating. This class walks students through how to get started with continental knitting (and purling) and how to grow more comfortable to this rewarding tensioning technique. Class dues: $60

Paladin Tank launches next week on Wednesday May 27th! This pattern is a muscle-style tank top knitting from the top-down, flat, and in-pieces! Despite the name, Paladin Tank doesn’t require muscles but refers to the way the shoulder is shaped to drape over the deltoid muscle, visually accentuating the shoulders compared to a regular tank top.

You can see a short preview of the pattern in action here: Instagram Preview

As newsletter subscribers, you all will receive a special 25% introductory discount that is exclusive to you! However, if you aren’t interested in this pattern at this time, there is a lot you can do to help support me and this pattern’s success such as:
1) Adding the pattern to your favorites on Ravelry
2) Adding the pattern to your Ravelry queue
3) Sharing the pattern launch on social media

Independent knitting design and patterns is a small industry and even a single like, queue, or share can really help with a pattern get seen by crafters that aren’t aware of me and my designs.

Thank you all so much and stay tuned for the launch next week!!!
